Program Details:

Our High Five class is a program we developed to service those children needing another year before kindergarten. This class takes the pre-k curriculum and goes a step or two further. The High Five program takes on a hands-on approach, with challenging the minds of the students as a whole and help to develop self-confidence with a love of learning. They sign in daily answering a question with sight words and have a daily estimation jar! The classrooms favorite activity is to hear the clues about the Mystery Reader and guessing which special friend is coming to read to them that day. It could be an older sibling, aunt/uncle, parent, grandparent. It’s a special way to get the students excited to read!
